Polar Perspectives utilizes photographer LaToya Ruby Frazier’s methods of extreme macro to extreme micro in her work to capture distinct moments in Braddock, PA from intentionally different perspectives. Doing so is meant to highlight the proximity of the Edgar Thompson Steel Works to residential and civic spaces, while showcasing the fortitude of a community that must continually straddle the extremes of society against their will. This short film on Braddock was produced as part of the "Beyond the Building's Footprint" seminar, instructed by Zaid Kashef Alghata at the Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture.
