One week ago, Zionists attending a pro-Israel rally clashed with pro-Palestine student protesters outside Kaplan and Royce Hall, near the UCLA Student Solidarity Encampment. Previously occupied by student organizers, the camp was raided early Thursday morning by the LAPD. Over 100 students and protesters were arrested, with multiple injuries reported by Students for Justice at Palestine at UCLA, or @sjpatucla, on social media.
A personal anecdote- this was the worst harassment I have experienced in my four years of covering protests.
